The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अहमल्पतपाः साधुवराको मानुषः किल ।
सिद्धयः कथमायान्ति मामभाग्यैकभाजनम् ॥ १४ ॥

ahamalpatapāḥ sādhuvarāko mānuṣaḥ kila |
siddhayaḥ kathamāyānti māmabhāgyaikabhājanam || 14 ||

I am but a poor and honest man, and one possest of very little qualification nor of any worth and account among mankind; and it is impossible that so miserable a wretch, could ever be blessed with this masterpiece of perfection.
