The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इदं संचिन्तयामास मनसा स्मयशालिना ।
संप्राप्तोपेक्षया दीर्घदुःखसंभ्रमशालिना ॥ ८ ॥

idaṃ saṃcintayāmāsa manasā smayaśālinā |
saṃprāptopekṣayā dīrghaduḥkhasaṃbhramaśālinā || 8 ||

He was then immerged in himself to think with amazement for a long time, he overlooked and neglected to lay hold on his great gain, and kept dubitating in his mind in the following manner.
