The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तत्समासेन तां तावदात्मोत्पत्तिं वदाशु मे ।
ततः श्रोष्यामि यत्नेन ज्ञानगर्भां गिरं तव ॥ ५ ॥

tatsamāsena tāṃ tāvadātmotpattiṃ vadāśu me |
tataḥ śroṣyāmi yatnena jñānagarbhāṃ giraṃ tava || 5 ||
