The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तृप्त्यादिना पदार्थेन केनचिद्वर्धते सुखम् ।
आलोक इव दीपेन महाम्बुधिरिवेन्दुना ॥ ११० ॥

tṛptyādinā padārthena kenacidvardhate sukham |
āloka iva dīpena mahāmbudhirivendunā || 110 ||

Some thrive in happiness with their virtue of contentment and the like, and are enlightened in their minds like a room by the light of the lamps; and as the bosom of the sea by the light of the luminaries of heaven.
