The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शान्तेन मनसोदारमारादुन्मुक्तकल्पनम् ।
निर्वाणार्थं तपः साधो कच्चित्संभृतवानसि ॥ ७४ ॥

śāntena manasodāramārādunmuktakalpanam |
nirvāṇārthaṃ tapaḥ sādho kaccitsaṃbhṛtavānasi || 74 ||

Tell me O devotee, whether you have ever applied your mind towards the acquirement of your final liberation and extinction; after the abandonment of all your earthly desires, by the magnanimity and tranquillization of your soul for a long time.
