The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.85.63

कुण्डलाभूषितमुखं नवमर्कमिवोदितम् ।
शिखासंप्रोतमन्दारं श्रृङ्गस्थेन्दुमिवाचलम् ॥ ६३ ॥

kuṇḍalābhūṣitamukhaṃ navamarkamivoditam |
śikhāsaṃprotamandāraṃ śrṛṅgasthendumivācalam || 63 ||

His face ornamented with earrings, glowed as the rising sun with his lustre of rosy rays, and the knotted hair on the top of his head with the mandara flower fastened on it, appeared as pinnacle of a mountain with the rising moon above it.
