The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एवंविधाः समायान्ति दशा मौर्ख्यप्रसादतः ।
अयं स राजा लक्ष्मीवान्यतो मेऽतिप्रियः पतिः ॥ ५१ ॥

evaṃvidhāḥ samāyānti daśā maurkhyaprasādataḥ |
ayaṃ sa rājā lakṣmīvānyato me'tipriyaḥ patiḥ || 51 ||

O! the great stupidity that rises from ignorance of spiritual knowledge, and which has brought on this miserable condition on this self-deluded prince.
