The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

घनान्धकारगुल्माढ्या क्षुद्रभूतौघकर्कशा ।
सारण्यानी निशा सार्धं समं तेनातिवाहिता ॥ ४८ ॥

ghanāndhakāragulmāḍhyā kṣudrabhūtaughakarkaśā |
sāraṇyānī niśā sārdhaṃ samaṃ tenātivāhitā || 48 ||

He passed amidst the gloom of night and through the thickets of the forest beset by thorny bushes; and full of heinous beasts and reptiles, with his firm fortitude.
