The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.82.18

यदा तु ज्ञानदीपेन सम्यगालोक आगतः ।
संकल्पमोहो जीवस्य क्षीयते शरदभ्रवत् ॥ १८ ॥

yadā tu jñānadīpena samyagāloka āgataḥ |
saṃkalpamoho jīvasya kṣīyate śaradabhravat || 18 ||

When the lamp of knowledge brings the mind to the full light of truth, then the error of volition is removed from the living soul, as the cloud of the rainy weather are dissipated in Autumn.
