The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिदग्निः पद्मपत्रस्थं सोमं वाचात्मकं त्विषा ।
जनयत्यनुभूत्येह कुड्यालोकं यथा बहिः ॥ ११३ ॥

cidagniḥ padmapatrasthaṃ somaṃ vācātmakaṃ tviṣā |
janayatyanubhūtyeha kuḍyālokaṃ yathā bahiḥ || 113 ||

The light of the intellect produces the brightness of consciousness, and the sun-beams reflect themselves as lunar orbs; in the dew drops on lotus leaves at early dawn.
