The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अपाने शीतले सत्तामेत्युष्णः प्राणपावकः ।
प्रतिबिम्बमिवादर्शे स च तस्मिंस्तथैव हि ॥ ११२ ॥

apāne śītale sattāmetyuṣṇaḥ prāṇapāvakaḥ |
pratibimbamivādarśe sa ca tasmiṃstathaiva hi || 112 ||

The apana being cooled gives rise to the fiery hot breath of prana, which remains in the body like the reflection of something in a mirror.
