प्रकाशमनलं सूर्यं चिद्रूपं विद्धि राघव ।
जडात्मकं तमोरूपं विद्धि सोमशरीरकम् ॥ १०३ ॥

prakāśamanalaṃ sūryaṃ cidrūpaṃ viddhi rāghava |
jaḍātmakaṃ tamorūpaṃ viddhi somaśarīrakam || 103 ||

Know Rama, the beams of the sun to be composed of fire or igneous particles, and the solar light to be the effulgence of the intellect; and the body of the moon to be but a mass of dull darkness.
