223,437 words | ISBN-10: 8171101519

The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.81.100

संधिरप्यविलोपः स्यादेतयोरेव तद्वपुः ।
भावाभावैर्यथैकास्थानिष्ठावेतौ तथैव हि ॥ १०० ॥

saṃdhirapyavilopaḥ syādetayoreva tadvapuḥ |
bhāvābhāvairyathaikāsthāniṣṭhāvetau tathaiva hi || 100 ||

That point is no nullity nor an empty vacuity (because it is neither the one or the other). Nor it is a positive entity and the real pivot and connecting link of both sides. It never changes its central place between both extremes of this and that, or the two states of being and not being.
