The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.81.68

यद्वद्व्योम स्फुरत्यङ्ग स्यभावात्तत्र वायवः ।
बलवन्मृदु यत्किंचिद्भृशं कवलयन्ति तत् ॥ ६८ ॥

yadvadvyoma sphuratyaṅga syabhāvāttatra vāyavaḥ |
balavanmṛdu yatkiṃcidbhṛśaṃ kavalayanti tat || 68 ||

As the high winds rage in the sky and break down the weaker leaves of the branches of trees, so do the vital airs coil in the body and crush the soft food, that has been taken in the stomach.
