The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वप्नावलोकनं यद्वत्तद्वत्सिद्धावलोकनम् ।
केवलोऽथ विशेषोऽयं सिद्धप्राप्तौ स्थिरार्थता ॥ ५५ ॥

svapnāvalokanaṃ yadvattadvatsiddhāvalokanam |
kevalo'tha viśeṣo'yaṃ siddhaprāptau sthirārthatā || 55 ||

The sight of the siddhas is like that of persons in our dream, with this difference only, that the sight of a siddha is fraught with many real benefits and blessings accruing thereby unto the beholder.
