The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
दर्शनं कीदृशं ब्रह्मन्नयनांशुगणं विना ।
अदिव्यानामिन्द्रियाणां तत्त्वमेव कथं भवेत् ॥ ५२ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
darśanaṃ kīdṛśaṃ brahmannayanāṃśugaṇaṃ vinā |
adivyānāmindriyāṇāṃ tattvameva kathaṃ bhavet || 52 ||

Rama said:—Tell me sir, how we may be able to see the supernatural siddhas, without feeling them by the rays and light of our eye sight, and without having any supernatural organ of perception of our own.
