The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.80.69

तृणाग्रनिष्ठा मेर्वाद्याः पञ्चकानां हि राशयः ।
विवेकनिष्ठाः कीटाद्या एते स्थावरजंगमाः ॥ ६९ ॥

tṛṇāgraniṣṭhā mervādyāḥ pañcakānāṃ hi rāśayaḥ |
vivekaniṣṭhāḥ kīṭādyā ete sthāvarajaṃgamāḥ || 69 ||

The great mountains are but heaps of the pentuples, hanging on the tender and slender blade of consciousness, and these moving and unmoving bodies, appear as worms on the tree of knowledge.
