The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.80.33

प्राणायामघनाभ्यासाद्राम कालेन केनचित् ।
कोपलोभादिसंत्यागाद्भोगत्यागाच्च सुव्रत ॥ ३३ ॥

prāṇāyāmaghanābhyāsādrāma kālena kenacit |
kopalobhādisaṃtyāgādbhogatyāgācca suvrata || 33 ||

It is also by refraining from anger and avarice, and abstaining from improper food and enjoyments, that one must be accustomed to constrain his breathings in the course of a long time.
