The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.78.44

अच्छेद्योऽयमदाह्योऽयं चिदादित्योऽतिनिर्मलः ।
आहो नु चिरकालेन शान्तास्मि परिनिर्वृता ॥ ४४ ॥

acchedyo'yamadāhyo'yaṃ cidādityo'tinirmalaḥ |
āho nu cirakālena śāntāsmi parinirvṛtā || 44 ||

It is not to be broken or burnt (i.e. though every where, yet it is an entire whole, and though full of light;yet it is not inflammable); and it is the unclouded luminary of the intellect. By meditating on the soul in this manner, I am quite at rest and peace.
