The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सद्वर्षयोर्धुरवरैर्द्युभूम्योरिव कान्तयोः ।
नित्यमेव वियुक्तत्वात्प्रियत्वाच्चेष्टितस्य च ॥ ४३ ॥

sadvarṣayordhuravarairdyubhūmyoriva kāntayoḥ |
nityameva viyuktatvātpriyatvācceṣṭitasya ca || 43 ||

The mutual attachment to one another was as delightsome to the people as the union of the raining sky with the cultivated ground; both tending to the welfare of mankind by the productiveness of the general weal.
