The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

उद्यानेषु विहारेषु लतापुष्पग्रहेषु च ।
कदम्बवनलेखासु चन्दनागुरुवीथिषु ॥ ४० ॥

udyāneṣu vihāreṣu latāpuṣpagraheṣu ca |
kadambavanalekhāsu candanāguruvīthiṣu || 40 ||

They reveled in the gardens and groves, and in the bowers of creepers and flowering plants; and amused themselves in the woods and in walks under the sandalwood and a gulancha shades.
