The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.77.23

कदलीकन्दलीकच्छतलपल्लवलासिनि ।
कान्तां प्रति बभूवास्य वसच्चेतः समुऽत्सुकम् ॥ २३ ॥

kadalīkandalīkacchatalapallavalāsini |
kāntāṃ prati babhūvāsya vasaccetaḥ samu'tsukam || 23 ||

He saw the banks decorated with the kadali shrubbery glistening with their gemming blossoms under the sable shade of kadali (plantain) leaves; which excited his yearning after the dear one that was seated in his heart.
