The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सुन्दरः शान्तसुभगः प्रतापी धर्मवत्सलः ।
वदिता विनयार्थानां दाता सकलसंपदाम् ॥ १५ ॥

sundaraḥ śāntasubhagaḥ pratāpī dharmavatsalaḥ |
vaditā vinayārthānāṃ dātā sakalasaṃpadām || 15 ||

He was handsome, quiet and fortunate, and equally as valiant as he was virtuous. He was a preacher of morality and bestower of all benefits to his suitors.
