The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.75.18

इति निश्चित्य तिष्ठन्तौ तौ वनाद्वनगामिनौ ।
अनानन्दं परानन्दं नासुखं न च मध्यमम् ॥ १८ ॥

iti niścitya tiṣṭhantau tau vanādvanagāminau |
anānandaṃ parānandaṃ nāsukhaṃ na ca madhyamam || 18 ||

They remained quiet with this conclusion, and passed their time in passing from one forest to another; without feeling any joy above their inward bliss, or knowing any sorrow or the intermediate state of joy and grief.
