The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वमेव स्वागतं कृत्वा तेन सार्धं भगीरथः ।
कंचित्कालमुवासाद्रौ वने ग्रामे पुरे जने ॥ १५ ॥

svameva svāgataṃ kṛtvā tena sārdhaṃ bhagīrathaḥ |
kaṃcitkālamuvāsādrau vane grāme pure jane || 15 ||

They welcomed one another, and then joining together, they both began to wander about the localities of men, and to pass over hills and deserts in their holy peregrinations.
