The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दिवसत्रयमात्रेण सर्वमेव परित्यजन् ।
असुमात्रावशेषोऽसावासीद्राजा भगीरथः ॥ ४ ॥

divasatrayamātreṇa sarvameva parityajan |
asumātrāvaśeṣo'sāvāsīdrājā bhagīrathaḥ || 4 ||

During three days he gave away profusely all what he had, till at last he had nothing for himself, except his life and flesh and bones.
