The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जरामरणमोहादिरूपाणां भवकारिणाम् ।
भगवन्सर्वदुःखानां कथमन्तः प्रजायते ॥ २१ ॥

jarāmaraṇamohādirūpāṇāṃ bhavakāriṇām |
bhagavansarvaduḥkhānāṃ kathamantaḥ prajāyate || 21 ||

Tell me lord, how can I get over the miseries of this world, and get freed from my fear of death and disease and from the fetters of errors and passions, to which I am so fast enchained.
