The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

किरन्नग्निकणासारमभितः स्वप्रतापजम् ।
मध्याह्नसूर्यकान्ताग्निरिव ज्वलति योऽरिषु ॥ ७ ॥

kirannagnikaṇāsāramabhitaḥ svapratāpajam |
madhyāhnasūryakāntāgniriva jvalati yo'riṣu || 7 ||

He spread all around him the effulgence of his valour, as the burning fire scatters about its sparks; and he burned as the blazing midday sun, among all his hostile bands.
