The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.68.27

यस्मात्संविदमेव स्यात्स्वान्यादिकलना कुतः ।
अनन्तमेव सौषुप्तं सर्वं मौनमतस्ततम् ॥ २७ ॥

yasmātsaṃvidameva syātsvānyādikalanā kutaḥ |
anantameva sauṣuptaṃ sarvaṃ maunamatastatam || 27 ||

Now as it is the consciousness which constitutes all and everything, how can you conceive your distinction from others, who are actuated by the same power, dwelling alike in all? It is this knowledge which is called the ever lasting sleep, and forms the ground work of every kind of silence.
