The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भावाभावादशादेशविशेषैर्वितथोत्थितैः ।
संविदो यदनाभासस्तन्मौनं परमं विदुः ॥ २३ ॥

bhāvābhāvādaśādeśaviśeṣairvitathotthitaiḥ |
saṃvido yadanābhāsastanmaunaṃ paramaṃ viduḥ || 23 ||

The mind that is unconscious of the effects, of the different states of its prosperity and adversity and of its plenty and wants, is said to rest in its highest state of rest and quiet.
