The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.68.16

नात्र संयम्यते प्राणस्त्रिविधो नापि योज्यते ।
नोल्लस्यन्ते न ग्लायन्ते समस्तेन्द्रियसंविदः ॥ १६ ॥

nātra saṃyamyate prāṇastrividho nāpi yojyate |
nollasyante na glāyante samastendriyasaṃvidaḥ || 16 ||

He does not require to restrain his respiration, nor needs the triple restraint of his speech; he does not rejoice at his prosperity, nor is he depressed in adversity, but preserves his equanimity and the evenness of his sensibility at all times.
