The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.67.13

प्रस्तुतः पद्मजादेव जगत्स्वप्नो यथोदितः ।
तथैवास्वच्छचित्तोत्थो रूढः सर्वजनं प्रति ॥ १३ ॥

prastutaḥ padmajādeva jagatsvapno yathoditaḥ |
tathaivāsvacchacittottho rūḍhaḥ sarvajanaṃ prati || 13 ||

As the world appeared to be presented at first in its visionary form, before the view of the universal or collective mind of the creative Brahma; so does it rise in its shadowy form in the opacous minds of all individual persons.
