The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.66.27

नानाकलहकल्लोलं जले प्रातरिवाम्बुजम् ।
जातं संवेदनादेव शुद्धादिदमशुद्धिमत् ।
संसारजालमखिलं सार्चिर्वह्निकणादिव ॥ २७ ॥

nānākalahakallolaṃ jale prātarivāmbujam |
jātaṃ saṃvedanādeva śuddhādidamaśuddhimat |
saṃsārajālamakhilaṃ sārcirvahnikaṇādiva || 27 ||

The gross form is produced from pure thought (i.e. the material from the immaterial mind);as a pile of flaming fire is kindled by a minute spark or a ray of sun beam. Such is the formation of the whole fabric of the world.
