The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भृत्याः प्रियाः किल तथा संतिष्ठति स भिक्षुकः ।
अद्यैव तस्य संवेत्तुं नियतेरीदृशी स्थितिः ॥ ११ ॥

bhṛtyāḥ priyāḥ kila tathā saṃtiṣṭhati sa bhikṣukaḥ |
adyaiva tasya saṃvettuṃ niyaterīdṛśī sthitiḥ || 11 ||

His dependants are thus kept out of doors for the time, that he is absorbed in meditation.
