The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

वसिष्ठमुनिसंयुक्ता विश्वामित्रादिसंयुताः ।
स्थिताः खेचरसिद्धौघा विश्रान्ता नृपनायकाः ॥ १ ॥

vasiṣṭhamunisaṃyuktā viśvāmitrādisaṃyutāḥ |
sthitāḥ khecarasiddhaughā viśrāntā nṛpanāyakāḥ || 1 ||

Valmiki related:—After the sages Vasishtha and Viswamitra had taken their seats in the court hall, there met the groups of celestials and siddhas of air, and the monarch of earth and chiefs of men.
