The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विचित्रास्त्रिषु लोकेषु दृश्यन्ते वस्तुदृष्टयः ।
जलमध्ये ज्वलत्यग्निर्यथाब्धौ वडवानलः ॥ १७ ॥

vicitrāstriṣu lokeṣu dṛśyante vastudṛṣṭayaḥ |
jalamadhye jvalatyagniryathābdhau vaḍavānalaḥ || 17 ||

In the three worlds we see wondrous objects, as we see fire burning in the water like a sub-marine fire.
