The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यत्स्वप्नपुरुषाज्जातं तत्स्वप्नपुरुषात्मकम् ।
भवतीत्यनुभूतं हि यद्बीजं तत्फलं यथा ॥ ८ ॥

yatsvapnapuruṣājjātaṃ tatsvapnapuruṣātmakam |
bhavatītyanubhūtaṃ hi yadbījaṃ tatphalaṃ yathā || 8 ||

That which is to be created by the dreaming man, is to be called his own; as we can say by guessing knowledge, what is in the seed, is in the fruit.
