The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वप्नोऽयं पुरुषस्यास्य प्रतिभासस्य यो भवेत् ।
रामाऽस्मदादिसर्वात्मा भवेत्तादृश एव च ॥ ७ ॥

svapno'yaṃ puruṣasyāsya pratibhāsasya yo bhavet |
rāmā'smadādisarvātmā bhavettādṛśa eva ca || 7 ||

Oh Rama! as the dreaming man counts his dream as reality, owing to his faith on it; so this world appears a reality, like the supreme God who has no beginning and end.
