The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.61.6

स्वप्ने क्षिप्रविनाशित्वं यथा पुंसा न दृश्यते ।
सर्वस्वप्ने तथैवैतद्ब्रह्मणामिह लक्ष्यते ॥ ६ ॥

svapne kṣipravināśitvaṃ yathā puṃsā na dṛśyate |
sarvasvapne tathaivaitadbrahmaṇāmiha lakṣyate || 6 ||

In a dream, we see good many things as reality; but as soon the dream is over, we do not find the things dreamt of; so we see the reality of the world; as long we remain in ignorance.
