The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
यथास्माकं मुने स्वप्नपुरपत्तनमण्डलम् ।
तथैव पद्मजादीनां यदि देहपरिग्रहः ॥ १ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
yathāsmākaṃ mune svapnapurapattanamaṇḍalam |
tathaiva padmajādīnāṃ yadi dehaparigrahaḥ || 1 ||

Rama said:—As we are, Oh sage! a dream drawn house, the body of the lotus-born Brahma—the first progenitor, is the same no doubt.
