The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सत्तासामान्यरूपं चेन्मनागपि विभाव्यते ।
तत्त्वं निमेषमात्रेण जन्तुर्मुक्तमना मुनिः ।
कुर्वन्संसारकर्माणि न भूयः परितप्यसे ॥ ५ ॥

sattāsāmānyarūpaṃ cenmanāgapi vibhāvyate |
tattvaṃ nimeṣamātreṇa janturmuktamanā muniḥ |
kurvansaṃsārakarmāṇi na bhūyaḥ paritapyase || 5 ||

He who meditates for a moment, on the universal essence of all (as the ens entium); he becomes liberated in an instant, and lives as a liberal minded sage or muni on earth.
