The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.59.32

योऽन्तः प्ररूढः स्वभ्यासो ज्ञत्वशब्देन स स्मृतः ।
यो न भुङ्क्ते भुज्यमानानपि भोगान्स बुद्धिमान् ।
लोकानुरोधसिद्ध्यर्थं स हन्ति लगुडैर्नभः ॥ ३२ ॥

yo'ntaḥ prarūḍhaḥ svabhyāso jñatvaśabdena sa smṛtaḥ |
yo na bhuṅkte bhujyamānānapi bhogānsa buddhimān |
lokānurodhasiddhyarthaṃ sa hanti laguḍairnabhaḥ || 32 ||

He is known as a wise man, who has this good habit of his deeply rooted in his mind, and he is said to be an intelligent man, who refrains from enjoying whatever is enjoyable in this world.
