The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.59.10

स पदार्थे पदार्थत्वं स तत्त्वं यदनुत्तमम् ।
स सतो वस्तुनः सत्त्वमसत्त्वं वा सतः स्वतः ॥ १० ॥

sa padārthe padārthatvaṃ sa tattvaṃ yadanuttamam |
sa sato vastunaḥ sattvamasattvaṃ vā sataḥ svataḥ || 10 ||

It is the essence of all substance (ens entium) and a verity which is the most excellent of all the truth of truths); it is the goodness of whatever is good, and the great or greatest good in itself.
