The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.59.9

स तन्तुर्भूतमुक्तानां परिप्रोतहृदम्बरः ।
स भूतमरिचौघानां परमा तीक्ष्णता तथा ॥ ९ ॥

sa tanturbhūtamuktānāṃ pariprotahṛdambaraḥ |
sa bhūtamaricaughānāṃ paramā tīkṣṇatā tathā || 9 ||

It is the thread connecting all beings together like pearls in a necklace, which is suspended on the breast of empty air; (the sutratma that connects all nature). It is the flavour of all things like the pungency of pepper.
