The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.59.3

दूरस्थमप्यदूरस्थं सर्वगं तत्स्थमेव च ।
तत्स्थः सत्तामवाप्नोषि तदेवास्यस्तसंशयः ॥ ३ ॥

dūrasthamapyadūrasthaṃ sarvagaṃ tatsthameva ca |
tatsthaḥ sattāmavāpnoṣi tadevāsyastasaṃśayaḥ || 3 ||

It seems to be afar though it is nearest to us, it appears to be ubiquitous though ever situated in everything. It is by that essence thou livest, and it is undoubtedly what thou art thyself.
