The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.58.10

तावत्स्फुरत्यविद्येयं नानाकारविकारिणी ।
यावन्न संपरिज्ञातः शुद्धः स्वात्माऽयमात्मना ॥ १० ॥

tāvatsphuratyavidyeyaṃ nānākāravikāriṇī |
yāvanna saṃparijñātaḥ śuddhaḥ svātmā'yamātmanā || 10 ||

So long doth our ignorance (avidya) flaunt herself in her various shapes, as we remain ignorant of the pure and modest nature of our inmost souls in ourselves.
