The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.56.29

सुरञ्जनं जगदिति स्फुटं दृष्टिविलोभनम् ।
नानातमोमषीलेखं नानातेजोंशुरञ्जनम् ॥ २९ ॥

surañjanaṃ jagaditi sphuṭaṃ dṛṣṭivilobhanam |
nānātamomaṣīlekhaṃ nānātejoṃśurañjanam || 29 ||

O how pleasant is this perspicuous picture of the world, and how very attractive to our sight. It was drawn on the inky coating of chaotic darkness, and exhibited to the full blaze of various lights.
