The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथैव पश्यत्याकारांस्तेषां नाशांस्तथैव सः ।
आदिसर्गे भावनया किलैष्वेवं विभावतः ॥ २९ ॥
yathaiva paśyatyākārāṃsteṣāṃ nāśāṃstathaiva saḥ |
ādisarge bhāvanayā kilaiṣvevaṃ vibhāvataḥ || 29 ||
Brahma said:—the lord of creation, has created all beings according to the images, that were impressed in his mind in the beginning. He sees them still to continue and die in the same forms.
