The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यावदप्रतिबुद्धस्त्वमनात्मज्ञतया स्थितः ।
तावच्चतुर्भुजाकारदेवपूजापरो भव ॥ ३८ ॥
yāvadapratibuddhastvamanātmajñatayā sthitaḥ |
tāvaccaturbhujākāradevapūjāparo bhava || 38 ||
As long as you are unacquainted with the nature of the supreme soul, and are not awakened to the light of the spirit; so long should you continue to adore the form of the God with its four arms.
