The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्यागः संकल्पजालानामसंसङ्गः स कथ्यते ।
समस्तकलनाजालस्येश्वरत्वैकभावना ॥ ३१ ॥

tyāgaḥ saṃkalpajālānāmasaṃsaṅgaḥ sa kathyate |
samastakalanājālasyeśvaratvaikabhāvanā || 31 ||

Unattachment signifies the renunciation of all our worldly desires, and the intense application of the mind to the one sole God of the multifarious creation, and the variety of his imaginary representations.
